Return & Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping at Giftswalla. Every product is thoughtfully curated with care for your little ones and special occasions. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy below.

This policy applies to all purchases made through our website.

 

1. Returns & Exchanges

Returns or exchanges must be requested within 7 days of delivery.

A return or exchange can be approved only once per order.

Items that have already been exchanged are not eligible for further return or exchange.

Products purchased during sale, promotional campaigns, festive offers, or clearance are not eligible for return or exchange.

Items must be:

  • Unused and unwashed
  • In original condition
  • With original tags and packaging intact
  • Returned with proof of purchase

Requests made after 7 days of delivery will not be accepted.

 

2. Non-returnable Items

The following items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable:

  • Rakhi products (due to seasonal and hygiene reasons)
  • Personalised or customised products
  • Gift hampers made to order
  • Clearance or final sale items

Please review product details carefully before placing your order.

 

3. Return Process

To initiate a return or exchange:

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Reason for return or exchange
  • Supporting images (if applicable)

Returns must be approved by our team before being shipped back.

 

4. Return Shipping

Return pickup may be arranged depending on service availability.

If pickup is unavailable, customers must self-ship the item.

Giftswalla is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Products received in used, damaged, altered, or worn condition will not qualify for refund or exchange.

 

5. Exchange Policy

Exchanges are processed only after inspection of the returned item.

If exchanging for a lower-priced product, a credit note will be issued for the balance amount.

If exchanging for a higher-priced product, the balance must be paid before dispatch.

Exchange orders are confirmed only after payment (if applicable) is received.

 

6. Cancellation Policy

Orders can only be cancelled before dispatch.

To cancel:

Mention “ORDER CANCELLATION” in the subject line

Include your order number

If the order has not been shipped, a refund will be processed within 5–7 working days.

Once dispatched, cancellation is not possible.

 

7. Address Accuracy

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping details.

Orders returned due to incorrect or incomplete address will incur shipping and handling deductions.

A new order must be placed with correct details.

 

8. Refund Policy

Refund requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

Shipping charges are non-refundable.

For orders that qualified for free shipping, actual shipping costs may be deducted from the refund.

Refunds are processed within 5–7 working days after inspection.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method only.

For incorrect product claims, an unboxing video showing the sealed package opening is mandatory.

 

9. International Orders

For international shipments:

  • Customs duties, taxes, and import charges are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Delivery timelines may vary depending on destination country.
  • Returns for international orders may require customers to bear return shipping costs unless the product is defective.

 

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any rights available to consumers under applicable consumer protection laws in their jurisdiction.

Where required by law, customers may be entitled to repair, replacement, or refund for products that are defective or not as described.

 

11. Limitation Of Liability

Giftswalla shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages
  • Delays caused by courier partners
  • Loss due to incorrect shipping information provided by customers
  • Delays due to customs clearance in international shipments

Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product.

 

12. Governing Law

This policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Vadodara, Gujarat.
